PHOTO SHOOTS
- Is there a fee to come to the photo shoot and have pictures taken of my pet?
NO. The photo sessions are free of charge. Just show up and enjoy the time with your pet!
- When should I arrive to my schedule photo shoot?
Please arrive to your scheduled photo shoot 15 minutes before your scheduled time slot. This will allow for time to check in and meet with your student photographer(s).
- What should I bring to the photo shoot?
Your pet! Also, it may be helpful to bring a favorite toy, blanket or treats. If you have anything special your pet wears or likes this could be a good addition to the picture session.
- What if it rains on my photo shoot date?
If the session is rained out please refer to our blog Paws for a Cause Blog for information on reschedule dates.
- How do I sign up for my photo shoot?
We prefer that you pre-register for your photo shoot session. To do this please visit our blog and find the link on the right side of the page to sign up. Or click here Photo Shoot Sign Up
- Do I have to sign up or are walk ups welcome?
We prefer that you pre-register for your photo shoot. However we are welcoming walk ups, but will honor the appointments first. We cannot guarentee immediate attention if you do not sign up.
- Who is photographing my pet?
Photography students from Lee-Davis High School will be shooting both digital and film at the photo shoot. Sponsor and teacher, Kristie Bradley will be on hand to attend to clients as well.
- How long will my photo shoot take?
Each client has been allotted 30 minutes of time for their photo session. We understand that each pet is different and some may require more or less time. Please be patient with our students during your session and help with the guidance of your pet. You know them best!
THE FUNDRAISER AND COSTS
- Who will the proceeds of Paws for a Cause benefit?
Proceeds of all purchases at or final event and silent auction will benefit the Hanover Humane Society. Donations are also welcome.
- What products will be available for purchase?
Not only will photographs be available for purchase through a silent auction on May 22nd, 2010 at Gallery 606 in Ashland, but we will also offer other options for purchasing further prints. T-shirts will be for sale at both photo shoots and the final event.
- When is the final event?
An exhibition and silent auction will be held at Gallery 606 in Ashland, Virginia on May 22nd from 11:00am - 5:00pm. The silent auction will close at approximately 3:00pm to allow for purchases to be picked up by the close of the event.
